rclone: Privacy Policy
rclone Privacy Policy
“rclone” is a personal Google OAuth client that I use to run rclone against my own Google Drive for backups. It is not offered to the public.
What data it accesses
With your consent, rclone uses the Google Drive API to list, read, upload, and delete files in your Google Drive, as directed by the commands you run.
How data is used and stored
- Files are transferred directly between Google Drive and the machine running rclone. They are not sent to me or any third party.
- The OAuth token is stored only in the local rclone configuration file on that machine.
- No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.
Revoking access
You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
